best for bridesWhat is the worst and best Brides Maids Dress you have ever seen (just for fun)?

Include pictures if you can!
Best were soft coral silk dresses, ankle length, slim fitting but not tight with a flutter hem and flutter short sleeves for a mid-summer wedding.
The dresses looked so cool and pretty in the hot weather.

Worst sleeveless white dresses where the top looked like a stretchy tube top and the skirts were poofy white tule that looked like little-girl-dress-up tutus. Fortunately all the bride's maids were actually really young (like 15 to 17) so they kind of went with it and had fun instead of being mortified.
The best : The one I wore for my sister's wedding in 1977 ( I was the Matron of Honor).

It was a burnt orange heavy knit halter gown, A-line, with a dark 拙克力 brown long sleeved bolero jacket of crushed velvet, matching brown velvet and burnt orange feather head piece and hand muff (winter webest for bridesdding). In fact with a pair of dress gold sandals, matching gold beaded clutch and a gold shawl ( it looked like spun gold, it was beautiful that shawl) I ROCKED that gown at a company Christmas ball.

I set the bolero, head piece, and muff aside and re-used the gown several times...got a lot of complements on it, too. Did NOT look like a bride's maid dress, that gown.

The worst was my one SIL's wedding...early 80's-this awful shade of pink with a sweetheart neckline and LARGE shoulder pads with HUGE puffy sleeves that were tight from the elbow to wrist, pouffy skirts and some kind of beaded and ribboned thingy on their heads which sported masses of messy curls. ????? In a satiny material ( for a late JUNE wedding) Oh and a BIG BUTT BOW!

I'd call it a hot mess but that would be too flattering lol.....
The best: A blbest for bridesack cotton halter dress that was oh-so flattering and I actually was able to wear again and still hangs in my closet!

The worst: A bubblegum pink satin square. Yes, it was square, meaning it was so bloody short I could not bend in the slightest and my underwear was millimetres from the world and made their way into some photographs. It was also strapless and had my full bust spilling over. And the shiny fabric made rolls where there weren't any. It was very poorly sewn together so what was supposed to be a straight skirt was asymmetric as a result making it even shorter in some areas and looked like a hot mess.
Worst - I drove past a wedding group getting photos done. The bridesmaid dresses had thick black and white vertical striped. Think circus tent.
