I had a great video downloader for youtube but then the bastards changed their scripts so now it doesn't work. Does anyone know a freeware program to download youtube videos? Preferably one that outputs .flv files.

Internet Download manager. IDM. Look for it. It's pretty good.
Or get Real Media Player, they have a plugin where you can just right click and receive the media from any source.
